Have you ever been just living your life knowing in the back
of your mind that you “Need” to be doing something differently but for whatever
reason you just never get around to it?
Or when you are about to take that first step, something happens to
distract you and you end up getting sidetracked?
Two weeks ago, after the loss of our pet I felt lost. In an
attempt to carry on, I found myself focusing on those “Back Burner” things that
I needed to do for myself- including resuming making a weekly menu planning
then I really got ambitious and made myself an old-fashioned Checklist (like a “To-Do” List)
This week felt like that “Road Block” in life finally
lifted. I not only was able to follow my food plan, but I walked three times
this week AND took the time to stretch out my body each night before going to
bed. It has been a wonderful week here.
I guess sometimes we just have to take it one day at a time,
and then sometime I find myself taking one hour at a time. If only every week
could be as easy and straight forward as this one.
